suspect that that headline isn’t what you were expecting from my blog (I’ll buy you all a drink if I ever write an article entitled ‘Evidence for intergalactic war’, mind you), but it’s one of the conclusions from the talks at the conference I’m attending.
Let me back track a bit. It’s day three of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey meeting in Chicago, and a surprising number of astronomers have made it into a conference hall for 9am on Sunday morning. They’ve been lured by a day of discussion of the largest scale structures in the Universe.
