The STS-124 Countdown Status Briefing just finished. I am happy to report that everything is looking great, and NASA is currently tracking no issues. The weather is continuing to cooperate with only a 20% chance of interference. Other weather predictions, including for emergency landing sites and SRB recovery, also look promising. The Rotating Service Structure will be rolled back 8:30pm eastern (I will be covering this event). The countdown is planned to restart around midnight with tank fueling to begin at approximately 7:30 tomorrow morning. If all continues to go as planned STS-124 (Discovery) will lift off at 5:02pm eastern to being a 14 day mission to ISS and install the Japanese Pressurized Kibo Module.
