Thank you everyone for the positive reviews and responses. I was somewhat nervous about being on the show. I've worked with Pamela for quite a while, but it was still intimidating.

Thank You All!

That buzzing in the mic is really annoying. Perhaps a mic check would take care of it.

Enjoyed this show, particularly the eyewitness account of a launch. Anyway, you mention safety and other difficulties if an orbiter had to be brought back from its European abort landing site. Back in the 1980s the Enterprise was fixed to the 747 carrier aircraft and taken on a world tour! It came here to England, I remember getting up early and driving with my friend Pete off to Stansted airfield or some such place, where the Enterprise made a flypast! So be reassured, Europe has hosted one of your vehicles already and I'm sure we wouldn't mind doing so again.

I just watched the Kepler launch and having listened to this episode made it all the more interesting to watch. I liked the weather part of the shuttle launch by the way =) ... but all of the science was very cool too. Thanks for another great episode. I'm falling in love with Astronomy all over again!
