I suggest you have a look at Perry Marshall's website - "If you can read this I can prove God exist's" (please Google)

Mr. Marshall utterly analiates every arguement put to him by skeptics. He manages elequently to prove that DNA is created by intelligent design, that there is a God, we were not created by space Aliens and that DNA - the building blocks of life could not possibly arrive through random mutation / natural selection.

Mr. Marshall's points have been undefeated by any skeptic any scientist and all attacks have been completely and utterly wiped out - with pure logic! It's a beautiful thing. If you want to learn something and you do have an open mind - as you claim to do, then go and have a listen. Then go on the attack - you will be unable to win.

Science really does win out in the end. Skeptics hide behind science to 'prove' God doesn't exist? Excuse me but science and logic very much proves that He does exist.

It's an entertaining listen.

I love your show Fraser, but not this episode...

Also I would just like to add that just be cause some thing hasn't been explained, doesn't mean its un-explainable.

Quote from this episode: They make the logical fallacy of what we call the argument for ignorance: "I don't know what that light in the sky is, therefore it's an alien spacecraft."

And I'm not trying to say anyone is ignorant, thats the name of the logical fallacy in this case. Its like saying, we don't know how the Egyptians made the stones so perfect, therefore Aliens must have help them.

Thats a pretty big leap, stone cutting -----> aliens. Hmm wouldnt it be more believable that they just had better stone custting tools than we thought and the man power to do it?

To Pie Hole, not to be rude but your examples are pretty ridiculous. Perfectly Spherical? Stone cutting on the pyramids too precise? How egyptians made the pyramids so precise? Most of these questions either have a false premise or already have been answered.

And I think you have answered your questions there in your post, yes most people are trying to sell books. And you don't sell as many books by saying "none of these are mysteries" you can also write a book faster with out researching in detail whether the evidence is factual or just rumor.

How does Dr. Novella explain the various archeological findings around the globe like the megaliths in the basewall of the Temple mount in Jerusalem, or the perfectly spherical stones balls in Costa Rica, or the radioactive stupa in India, or the hundreds of strange little metal balls, found in ancient rock strata in Africa dated 2.8 billion years old that could have only been made in a zero gravity environment according to NASA? Are these stories false? What about the precision stone cutting in the Great Pyramid that cannot be duplicated even today, and the apparently melted rock on the temple mount of Jesualem as the rumored "quark beam" would do. What about the radio active dust covering just the valley around Sodom and Gomorah, indicating a limited nuclear attack? Is any of this true? Has Dr. Novella dimissed this evidence, or is the evidence made up by people trying to sell books? How did the Ancient Egyptians know to build the Great Pyramid with a unit of measurement based on 1/25,000th of the axis of the Earth -the only straight line in Nature?

In science, a single solid experiment, or a single truthful finding, must destroy opposing theories, hasn't this happened yet with more archeological evidence of this type almost every year?
